Childhood experiences shape your character. Not everyone lives with the same circumstances, but Timon is passionate about providing resources for children in need. When Timon was younger, he saw firsthand the effects stemming from a lack of inclusion and disability awareness amongst special needs children. As a day camp counsellor, Timon was heavily involved with the mentorship of children, allowing for him to spark an interest in youth advocacy. This has led him down the path of being involved with Variety Alberta. Timon hopes to inspire change and promote equality through constructing strategies, allowing for children to thrive.
Timon obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. In his previous role as Project Controls Specialist within the oil and gas industry, he has executed numerous continuous improvement initiatives. Through his experiences, Timon has refined his skills in communication, project management and advocacy.
